Darby's Delivery Service is a game made for Ludum Dare 53. The theme of "Delivery" was incorporated in a cozy, drag and drop mail delivery game. Darby's was ranked 607th overall and 253rd for its graphics out of a total of 2310 submissions. The game jam ran from April 28th 2023 at 9:00 PM EST to May 1st 2023.

I lead the art team in drawing assets and designing UI, keeping it simplistic enough to fit a condensed game jam production, yet still easily navigable for a small-scale game.
The process of building the visuals of this game was very structured and straight forward - I created wireframes to guide the art team, and oversaw the final layouts.
UI elements.
I was in charge of designing all of the letters that would be dropped into mailboxes.
It was important to maintain constant communication within the art team as we worked on different assets, and everything was kept consistent with an informal style guide.

Our system of letters involved having letters with different roles meant for specific boxes - which meant they had to have matching elements and clear visual indicators to intuitively guide players.
